First PAS authorization of the joint venture
The Sunscape – Chaberton Energy joint venture has obtained the positive conclusion of the Services Conference for a PAS (Simplified Authorization Procedure) covering a photovoltaic plant of over 7 MW.
It is the first authorized project originated by the joint venture — concrete evidence of the strength and productivity of the partnership between the two companies.
11,000 bifacial modules on single-axis trackers
The project will install more than 11,000 bifacial photovoltaic modules on north–south single-axis trackers, a layout that maximizes the plant's energy yield.
Grid connection will be in medium voltage, with expected connection times of less than 100 business days — a particularly competitive timeline for the Italian market.
12 GWh per year, over 120,000 tons CO₂ avoided
Once operational, the plant will generate approximately 12 GWh of renewable energy per year, equivalent to the electricity consumption of more than 4,000 households.
Over its operating life it will avoid the emission of more than 120,000 metric tons of CO₂, making a concrete contribution to the decarbonization of the Italian energy system.
Only 15 months from site identification
The result was achieved in just 15 months from site identification, a particularly competitive timeline given the typical Italian permitting processes, confirming the Sunscape team's ability to manage complex procedures efficiently.
